Talk: Derek Ridgers 18th February 2012

Throughout 2012 I’m looking to host a wider variety of events at Switch Photography Studio. Some of these will be workshops, some will be model days and some will be, as this first 2012 event is, talks!

I’m really happy to be announcing the first of these talks:

An Evening with Derek Ridgers

For me, this is a really exciting chance to hear Derek talk about his work. He photographed many of my favourite bands through the late 80′s and 90′s including the Jesus and Mary Chain, Beastie Boys and the LA’s… but he’s also photographed a few more rather well known people…

He’ll be talking about his work with bands and musicians from the early punk days in the 70′s right through his time at the NME and onto Loaded magazine.

Places are limited for this talk as it will be in the studio, but the smaller group should lend itself to being a nice social occasion – and there will be drinks and snacks for everyone attending too…

The evening will start at 6pm on Saturday, 18th February and costs just £20 per person.

Ruby True & Elegy Ellem 26th September 2011

We are proud to announce we will be hosting a studio day with the AMAZING Ruby True & Elegy Ellem.

Both models are highly regarded within the alternative scene and will be bringing a whole range of amazing designer outfits for your to shoot!

You will have an extra 10 minutes between hours if you book back to back hours!
