Post Production

From start to finish…

Post production is often seen as something that is tacked on at the end of a shoot, even the name suggests that. However, what we really should be looking at is planning a shoot with the whole concept in mind – picturing the finished image before we even start.

Our post production workshop focuses on just that.

We start by defining the concept of what we want to achieve and then look at how we need to design the lighting, pose and set to get as close to the final image as we can – or at least make it a whole lot easier to achieve it through post production!

After the shoot we then move onto the post production processes that will transform our RAW assets from working images to a finished piece.

The workshop

We split the day into two halves. The morning session covers:

• Conceptualising the shoot
• Designing the set, pose and lighting
• Photographing the model with the final image in mind

After some light refreshments the afternoon session covers:

• Workflow
• Skin Retouching
• Colour correction
• Creating atmospheric effects
• Compositing
• Finishing touches
• Preparing your file for print

The total cost for this day is £340 which includes One to One training, model and studio hire plus refreshments.
